As an accomplished global CFO, COO, Board Member and Advisor, Shannon Nash brings 20+ years of experience scaling companies for growth and successful exits through financial and operations leadership, business strategy, technology, cybersecurity, and M&A expertise. Shannon leverages experience from small to high-growth, global, and publicly traded businesses, creating synergistic strategies to align across the business – from finance, IT, security, HR, to sales operations, legal, and compliance. She has a strong record of delivering innovative strategies using technologies, cybersecurity, data analytics and GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) solutions. As a qualified financial expert and Audit Committee Member, attorney, and CPA, Shannon knows how to set the right business growth strategies, while mitigating risk. Shannon is currently the CFO of Insidesource, a $200M+ global space design company, where she serves on Executive Management Team, Board Treasurer and leads developing and owning the company’s financial strategy for its 350+ employees. In just two years she led the company’s financial restructuring resulting in 75% growth in operating margin and 30% sales growth while scaling the Finance organization to a first class department with 15 people, including 4 CPAs. Prior to Insidesource she led financial strategy for the San Francisco market of Cumulus Media, Inc., the 2nd largest US broadcasting media company ($1B+ in revenue). Shannon started her career as a corporate and tax attorney practicing with the KPMG, K&L Gates, Cooley LLP and in-house with Amgen (global biotech company $20B+ in revenue). Shannon earned her BS in accounting from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce where she now serves on the Board of Advisors and her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. She lives in the Bay Area with her husband, three kids, two dogs and in her free time teaches Zumba and U-Jam Fitness.
